[Rise’s shadow did her best not to seem affected by what Ryoji said, but her insides were twisting up in fear. Death as in… that Death? She wanted to say something in reply, though… she really couldn’t think of anything that wouldn’t just be a taunt and good grounds to kill her.
When Rise stepped between them, the shadow took a slow step back. She decided she’d let Rise calm him down before she could make a run for the electronics section.]

Well, Shadow? Have you heard of Death before or not? Because you may not know it, but you’re staring him in the face at this very moment.
Since her back as to het shadow, Rise did not see her step back. Her eyes locked with Ryoji’s eyes which full of intensity at that moment. She did not flinch, nor move as he confirmed whom he was. “Ryoji-kun,” she started, “…I know what she may be like, and how she is acting, but..” she paused and let out a slow sigh and put a hand to her chest, “she is still a part of me. So please…” Once more she paused and took a step forward, “don’t anything rash. Don’t do anything you don’t need or want to do. The last thing I want is for anyone…” she looked back at her shadow, “..to get hurt. So please, don’t do anything…either of you.”She emphasized.
>Rise turned around and faced her Shadow now and stared right at her
“…I wanted to say this earlier, but,” she paused, “..you know, I don’t think it’s me this time that’s insecure. Or scared, or uneasy…I have been show business, true, it’s not the same as before, but I don’t think you have accepted me, or, yourself this time. It’s backwards this time. So, is really me that’s the insecure one? Or, is you who is?” she asked and waited. Right now at that moment, Rise could definitely sense and see the fear in her shadow’s face. Despite how bad she made her look, her shadow was still a apart of her, so she had do something. Maybe talking to her, would cease the tension between her and Ryoji.

[Rise stared at the threatening teen for a moment, torn between answering him and just disappearing.]
… I’ve heard of you.
[She murmured, stepping back again to keep herself behind Rise, using her counterpart as a shield. When Rise spoke to her, she froze, watching her counterpart really stand up for herself for the first time in… well, a while, at least.
The silence seemed to take forever and the shadow finally straightened up and looked confidently at her counterpart.]

[The shadow turned a little, looking at an imaginary mirror and frowning as she touched her jaw, then her shoulders. Her palms ghosted over her bust and stopped at her waist. The shadow’s frown increased just slightly and she dropped her hands to her sides and turned away from the imaginary mirror and put on a smirk once her eyes were upon her counterpart again.]
